Rock Salt available in White & Brown
We are able to supply white & brown rock salt in any quantity, 25kg bags, bulk bags & tonne loose loads.
Our brown rock salt is pink/brown in colour and provides excellent traction due to its large particles and being more visible than white salt it gives you the confidence that areas have been treated. Brown salt is extracted from a mine in Cheshire and conforms to BS3247 and is the same salt used by your local council. Ideal for gritting paths, driveways, car parks and roads and is perfect economical choice for treating large areas.
Our white rock salt conforms to BS3247 : 1991, which is the same product that the Highways Agency use on all major public roads. This salt is clean to use leaving no dirty residue to be trodden into buildings and vehicles. After a winter season there is no residue to sweep up and no drains to be cleared. Our white rocks salt is carefully screened to produce the most effective spread pattern increasing pedestrian safety and the working life of equipment.
