20mm Shingle (Gravel) – Multipurpose & High-Drainage Solution
Our 20mm Shingle is a highly versatile and essential construction aggregate, perfect for projects requiring robust drainage and reliable material integrity. Often referred to as gravel or chippings, the 20mm grading is one of the most popular sizes, delivering an optimal balance between coverage and permeability.
Key Features & Ideal Applications of 20mm Shingle
-
Superior Drainage: The coarse nature of the 20mm Shingle makes it ideal for land drainage, soakaways, and pipe bedding, preventing water buildup and ensuring compliance with building regulations.
-
Highly Versatile: This aggregate is suitable for a wide range of building applications, including mixing with cement for concrete production, as a foundational layer, or for creating firm sub-bases.
-
Locally Sourced: Sourced locally to minimise transport costs and environmental impact.
Important Notice on Colour & Composition
As a product made from naturally occurring materials, the colour, texture, and stone mix of your 20mm Shingle will inevitably vary depending on the quarrying location.
Please Note: If you intend to use this shingle for decorative purposes (e.g., driveways or garden borders), we strongly advise purchasing all required bags at the same time and considering that natural variations will occur across different batches.
